The 2023/2024 National Concerto Competition is open to all instrumentalists aged 25 years and under.

The preliminary section of the Competition was held on 5th, 6th and 7th December 2023 at The Piano in Christchurch. The final was held on Saturday 9th March 2024 in the Douglas Lilburn Auditorium, Christchurch Town Hall at 7.00 p.m. Finalists performed with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Benjamin Northey.
