The 2025/2026 National Concerto Competition is open to all instrumentalists aged 25 years and under as at 31st December 2025.

The preliminary/semi final section of the Competition has now been completed. The final was held on Saturday 7th March 2026, 7.00 p.m. in the Douglas Lilburn Auditorium, Christchurch Town Hall. Finalists performed with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra with James Judd as Conductor.
